Where did the Summer go?\u00a0 It seemed like it was too hot or too rainy here for barbecues.\u00a0 Rather than fire up the grill for little ol\u2019 me, I let Foster\u2019s do the grilling.\u00a0 The Foster\u2019s near me carved out some patio space from their parking lot.\u00a0\u00a0 This was very nice because they also let folks bring their dogs!\u00a0 Of course, my little princess liked it for the first couple of times.\u00a0 She loves to meet people and enjoyed the attention.\u00a0\u00a0 Soon more folks were coming out to eat and there were too many cars in the parking lot.\u00a0\u00a0 The moving cars were too unsettling for her and the heat was too much for me!\u00a0 Therefore, the Princess got to stay home.\u00a0 Thankfully, the restaurant still wasn\u2019t too crowded inside with the cool AC. So I met my friends at Foster’s and we ate juicy<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

burgers and enjoyed a bit of normalcy.\u00a0 The managers at our local Foster\u2019s make it welcoming and keep the service going.\u00a0 I like getting an old-fashioned char-grilled burger and fries along with a smile.\u00a0 It\u2019s one of the few places where I truly feel welcome besides just as another customer. \u00a0The fun music helps a lot too.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One of my friends is watching her cholesterol and limiting her red meat to once a week.  Therefore, she sometimes gets the turkey burger.  She seems to enjoy it; however, she admits it\u2019s not quite as good as the regular, beef burger.   She also gets the salad and then eats half of my fries!  That\u2019s ok because they are big burgers and I can\u2019t eat all the fries by myself.    As proven when I meet up with my married friends who get wings and their own fries! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For folks who may want something else, they have the \u2018Backyard\u2019 Garden Burger.   On their \u201cLimited Time\u201d menu they have the Beyond Meat Charburger.  They have steak and cheese and hotdogs!  Check-out their special milkshakes too.  Every great once in a while, I can\u2019t resist the cake!  Nancy makes the cakes herself and they taste like the ones my mom made.  Well, my mom was a good baker so they are tasty! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyway, I guess this is a restaurant review of sorts.  Foster\u2019s is super casual and draws a lot of the local youth sports teams for celebrations and birthday parties.  Not so much during these Covid-times, however, they are getting busier.  If you like a good burger and a friendly, casual space \u2013 try your local Foster\u2019s Grille.  It is comforting to have a local sit-down restaurant that is not fast food nor is it fancy.   Meet up with your friends for good food and good company!<\/p>\n
