Yes, I took her down the deck steps and about 5 feet into the backyard. Set her down and she just froze! And not the “eww the grass is wet” freeze. This was different and then I wanted to walk but something about how stiff she was had me stop and think maybe I should go stand behind her and put on the flash light. It was super dark without much light from the neighbors. I move two feet to the right — right behind her. Put on my phone flashlight — OMG! Right in front of me was a huge fully formed, and impressive I might add, spiderweb. Complete with the giant spider!!! I could have walked face first into that!

So, even a “Princess” dog can save your life — ok, this maybe a bit dramatic. I figure if I had walked into that in the dark and there was a spider — I would have freaked out and had a heart attack and died! So yes, she can be worth her weight and mine too! Needless to say, dogs really are human’s best friends!
